Hey guys, I hope you’ve had a great November so far and a great Thanksgiving as well if you’re in America. 

This post is going to be a bit shorter than my usual post. I’ve felt the push lately to take a break from the blog. I pushed through it for a bit, but I was reminded of a previous post I’ve done about the commandment to rest. In it, I quoted Psalm 127:1. 

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”

If the Lord is calling me to rest, I don’t want to keep working in vain. So I’m planning to take this month and next off from posting so that I can be more present for the holidays and take a mental rest for a little bit. I’m hoping to be back for my regularly scheduled post at the end of January with a fresh mindset.
